Hand-embroidery is a beautiful craft with useful and practical applications. We will learn how to do the most common (and used) hand-embroidery stitch techniques which are:
- WOVEN WHEEL STITCH
- STRAIGHT STITCH
- CHAIN STITCH
- STEM STITCH
- FRENCH KNOTS
The finished product is simple yet elegant and can also be redesigned with additional artwork at the center (see pictures for reference). This class is perfect for beginners but intermediate students are also welcome. After this class, you'll be able to give your clothes or home decors a pop of color by stitching designs on them.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
This is a hands-on class. Please prepare the following materials for your class:
- DMC Floss threads
- Any plain cloth
- Embroidery hoop
- Embroidery needles
- 3 different coin sizes

ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Melissa is an embroidery artist based in Manila, Philippines. She started doing hand-embroidery since 2016. What once was a hobby turned into passion and now I’m an advocate for the arts and its health benefits as it is a proven meditative form of therapy.

**This is an online class to be conducted via Zoom. Best to use a desktop with a webcam instead of a mobile phone. Zoom link will be emailed 1 hour before the class**
**Fee is not refundable, but transferrable. If you are unable to attend the class, please notify us 24 hours beforehand to reschedule. If no group schedule is available, kindly pay the difference for a one-on-one class and we can have a private class in your most convenient time. If in case of no-show and no notification, class fee will be forfeited.**
