There are several uses for Gum Arabic:

• Gradually add powder thicken ink until it reaches the desired consistency. To help prevent feathering and bleeding of ink on paper
• Mix with water until the desired consistency is achieved. We recommend 1:5 gum to water ratio. Mix 1 part pigment and 4 parts gum arabic liquid to create ink. Add water to reach the desired consistency
• Mix 3 parts pigment and 1 part gum arabic to create paint.
